Seoul Busters had potential but fell short of my expectations. Overall, I didn’t enjoy it much because it felt like the usual police-and-criminal drama. The storyline was present, but it didn’t stand out or deliver anything new. The plot revolves around Dongbang Yu-Bin, who returns from overseas to lead the Violent Crimes Unit 2, and we see the team gradually improve at catching criminals.

Though each character had a backstory, the show didn’t explore these enough, leaving much to be desired. The first part ended with hints of a sequel, and I’m hopeful that Part 2 will address the missing depth, provide more engaging storylines, and truly deliver on its promise. The first 16 episodes just scratched the surface, and I’m eager to see if the next part can elevate the series.
